Soul and Motown Party Band
Specialising in performing covers from the Motown era, Soul Definition offer professionalism to make your event unforgettable. Originally formed at Leeds College of Music in 2009, the band has since migrated down south with fresh faces, but still the same infectious sound! Combining 3 part harmonies with irresistible grooves, the pieces are arranged to allow multiple solos and prolonged enjoyment, whilst keeping you on the dance floor all night long.
Packages
Our standard package includes 2 hours of music (split however you like) performed by our usual 5 piece band of 3 part vocals, keys, guitar, bass and drums.
We also offer a variety of add on options to help make your event special. Please contact if there is a requirement that is not listed.
DJ Set
We've found that many clients do not wish to also hire a DJ when having live music so why not let Soul Definition play music from one of their pre-prepared playlists after their set until your event finishes. The band will pack away but speakers, lights and dancing will continue. Please feel free to request as many dancefloor favourites as you like.

Our song lists are ever changing based on customer needs, however, we try to stay as true to the Motown style as possible.
